Baidu, Inc. announced its latest connected vehicle solutions and enterprise applications with 14 partners at the 18th International Automobile & manufacturing technology exhibition or Auto Shanghai 2019. The new version of the Baidu’s conversational AI platform known as DuerOS from Apollo has been featured in several of the vehicles both at the international and domestic market. The OS has featured in the Ford Escape, Edge ST, Great Wall Haval H6, Hyundai SANTA FE, and KIA KX5/ KX3. In addition to this Baidu also showcased its all-new collaboration that is completely new with Panasonic concept car, along with this we see an improved application of Apollo enterprise solution for the new vehicles by WM Motor.

Zhenyu Li, Vice President and General Manager of Baidu’s Intelligent Driving group said in a statement that Artifical Intelligence is transforming the automotive industry. As we collaborate with various partners in the automotive industry, Baidu is assisting in building a new framework for the connected vehicle solutions, improved transportation and getting the cars to move away from the basic transport vehicle and become something completely new. Including the DuerOS for Apollo, we are all set to bring new experience for the people. Apollo enterprise will be building a completely new transformation of a journey where driving and connected vehicles become the solutions for the user.

DuerOS for Apollo completely is a new development wherein it’s installed currently in the Fords SYNC+ in-vehicle infotainment system. The system has been installed in four-vehicle that are presented in the Auto Shanghai 2019- Titanium, Edge ST, Escape ST, and ST-line. Baidu and Ford co-developed the SYNC+ infotainment based on the DuerOS for Apollo implementing new features for drivers that include intelligent navigation, entertainment system and integrating the smart homes with the technology.  Baidu is one of the leading Chinese language Internet Search providers that want to use to make the world simpler.
